teacherA* is a year-round program comprised of year-round courses in Math and Computer Science and winter and summer camps. You may also choose to attend parts of this great program.

Mission

examA* identifies, motivates, guides and trains potentially gifted K-12 students in math and science by utilizing national and international competitions in a challenging environment.

Based on their performance in USA Math Olympiads, approximately 50 top students from USA are invited to Math Olympiad Summer Program (MOSP), a three-week intense national math training camp held in University of Nebraska Lincoln campus every June. The following A* students are invited to MOSP 2013. Congratulations to them all!

A* organized a free special camp in Bay Area on May 11-12 to warm-up A* USACO finalists for the USACO National Camp. In this condensed two-day camp, students had four former International Olympiads in Informatics exams. USACO Finalists will participate in the USACO National Camp between May 23 and June 1 at Clemson University in South Carolina. As A* Team, we wish success to our students, Steven Hao, Andrew He, Lawrence Li, Alex Pei, Brian Shimanuki and Tony Wang in the USACO National Camp.

2013 USAMO/USAJMO awards are announced. 48 students received Winners and Honorable Mention awards. Among them are 5 A* students:

2013 MathCounts National Competition was held on May 10th. Alec Sun from Massachusetts became the MathCounts champion and Massachusetts won the team competition. National champion Alec Sun and first runner-up Ashwin Sah are also selected to represent USA at this year’s Junior Balkan Math Olympiad (JBMO).
